long time no see

two long months have gone by since i last wrote in this blog.

i owe (and will pay later, this is going to be just a quick note) the chronicle of our visit to daniel and beautiful kelly in nyc...
... where we also had the chance to pamper sofie, whom we can see with daniel and gorgeous sue having an outside coffee in brooklyn.

they even took us to the river cafe, the old restaurant on the other side of the east river, just on the waterfront, from where you can see manhattan all lighted up at night. great views.

while we waited we enjoyed good piano music and the fantastic monkey-in-the-lamp that you can see.

later we went to richmond, virginia, for the second act (jim&jane's act) ot the great sam and becca's wedding fiesta.

we can see susan with delightful jane and my friend mojo having another coffee and relaxing the day before the event. as you can appreciate, good weather stayed with us all along. god helps good christians... at least once in a while.

to the left, the spouses with mama jane and aunt sue... and dad jim rothrock in full action with the rock&roll band. happiness was that plentiful... and more.

también debo (y pagaré) una crónica del homenaje a los papás que montamos para josé maría y carmina en casa de jaime y adriana. vino la familia y algunos viejos amigos. teresa preparó un show con fotos de cuando vivían como dioses. todos querían verse... cada uno a sí, que somos como niños. pero la cosa tenía que ir rápido. el tiempo nos acompañó, por los pelos, pero nos acompañó... aunque yo llegué de vuelta a casa empapado como una sopa.

también debo algún exabrupto sobre las elecciones del 27 de mayo y, claro está, sobre los avances secesionistas.

el problema con las deudas que se acumulan es la pereza que da pagarlas. esto ha sido solo un primer apunte, un arranque, un vano intento de evitar que el paso del tiempo acabe provocando el abandono definitivo de las obligaciones asumidas.
